Hi, I'm Dixie the founder and owner of Your Yoga Studio. I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance having over 200 hours of training in vinyasa, kids, seniors, and prenatal yoga. I'm also certified in Therapeutic Yoga and Thai Yoga Bodywork, have a second degree Black belt in TaeKwonDo, and a yellow belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
I teach a functional fitness style yoga class, with an emphasis on fun! You may find yourself smiling, giggling or even laughing out loud.
The Your Yoga instructors make sure everyone finds their place in each pose. We try to remove the mystery and intimidation out of yoga by making it fun and accessible to everyone.
I regularly host beginner, advanced, and specialty Yoga training seminars for YogaFit and teach yoga for Corporate clients.

Hi, I'm Christina,
I was introduced to yoga in the early 90s through a magazine. My life was chaotic and unpredictable, and I was drawn to the serenity I found in practicing the postures and breathing techniques. In college I enjoyed the physical release of an asana practice, but it wasn’t until I was debilitated by chronic and mystery illness that I discovered the breadth of yoga as a healing modality.
After suffering for close to 20 years, a friend invited me to a restorative yoga class at Your Yoga. After the first class, I thought it was a waste of time and money (so pitta!). I kept going (to be with my friend), and amazingly, after a few weeks I began feeling better. I was curious to know why “doing nothing” was affording me some relief. Thus began my journey through teacher training.
I completed a Foundations of Yoga Therapy 200-hour training, and knew I wanted to become a yoga therapist. I graduated from the Practice School of Yoga Therapy and now have a thriving practice as a C-IAYT. I have had the privilege of both learning from and serving as an assistant for Judith Hanson Lasater in restorative yoga training. I have completed studies in Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and a Neuro-Rehabilitation Program for Chronic Illness, among many others.
I now live a life free from chronic conditions. My work comes from a place of lived experience with chronic illness and recovery. I enjoy guiding clients and students to befriend their bodies, connect with joy and ease, and ultimately connect with and live from their wholeness.
My classes incorporate breath-centered movement and allow students to find an expression of each posture that works best with their body. I try to relate what we’re doing on the mat to everyday life, and love to share nuggets of wisdom as I learn them myself. - Christina

Hi, I'm Tiffany!
I've lived all over the northeast and Texas so I'm not really "from" anywhere. However, I have lived in Texas the longest. I found yoga while completing my Bachelors in Psychology. I was immediately hooked. Yoga gave me such peace of mind and clarity, that I knew it had to become part of my routine. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Red Dawg in San Marcos and my 300-hour with Practice Yoga in Austin. My teaching style is vinyasa-based with a focus on strength and flexibility, with some groovy tunes. I believe that mindfulness and meditation are very important for a well-rounded yoga practice. My hobbies include traveling, music festivals, and hanging out with my dogs and boyfriend.
See you on the mat! - Tiffany

Hi y'all! My name is Francelia,
I am a native of Texas and discovered Yoga in 2007 as part of a cross-training exercise and ended up loving how Yoga strengthened me mentally and physically. In 2013, after many years of practice, I received my 200-hour Soul Awakening Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Southtown Yoga Loft in San Antonio, Texas.
After finishing my teacher training, I moved to Oaxaca, Mexico where I practiced Yoga in Spanish, planting the seed to take this practice to my own community. Upon my return to the States in 2016, I moved to Chicago and shortly thereafter found Yoga Now Chicago studio where I received an additional 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate under Amy Beth Treciokas. I am a registered Yoga Teacher throught Yoga Alliance and teach Vinyasa style classes. I also teach Restorative, Meditation, Yoga for Kids, and Bilingual Yoga.
My classes provide a space where people of all shapes and abilities have the opportunity to discover the truth in transition and the sense of lightness they seek in their practice. All of my students from beginners to advanced feel completely comfortable moving at their own pace and ability levels. In my class you will experience creative sequencing, playfulness, and spirituality. I introduce meditation by practicing breath work, synchronizing breath with body movement, stillness and crystal singing bowls.
Outside of the yoga studio, I work as an accountant for a nonprofit organization in Chicago, IL. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my dog Chicago.

Namaste y'all. I'm Robin!
I'm so honored and happy to be part of Your Yoga since 2017. Although I've been practicing yoga for over 25 years at various studios, Your Yoga by far has been the most welcoming community where we're truly able to let go of judgment and competition, and well . . . enjoy ourselves!
I've been a Level II instructor at Your Yoga since last year, and strive to put the FUN in FUNctional yoga where we support the well-being and movability of the whole body. Shout out to Dixie who has been an inspirational mentor and recognizes the unique differences we all have, rather than teaching the "one size fits all" approach to yoga.
When I'm not practicing yoga, I teach clogging lessons with the Clickety Cloggers. I recently joined a hiking club in Austin and am completely in awe over all the amazing trails we have here! Have also been tutoring elementary students since retiring from teaching with AISD.
Would love to welcome you to my class! You'll find them invigorating AND relaxing (best of both worlds ;)

Hi, this is Dipali,
I firmly believe that Yoga is a way of life, promoting constant awareness and a harmonious union between the mind and body. In 2014, I became a Yoga teacher after completing an 18-month teacher-training course at Yoga Niketan, Gujarat, India. The following year, I passed the International Yoga Teacher Certification exam administered by the Ministry of Aayush, Government of India, becoming one of the first 200 yogis in India to receive this honor.
I have received training in both BKS Iyenger's style of yoga and traditional Ashtanga Yoga. I am also certified in guided imagination meditation and self-hypnosis by Dr. Palan in Gujarat, and proficient in the Reiki technique.
I believe yoga is a perfect way to rejuvenate and reawaken one's mental and physical self. I have experience teaching classes in Vinayasa, Alignment BKS Iyenger style, Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Restorative, Pranayama-Meditation, and Self Hypnosis. I have worked at a State Women's Rehabilitation Center in Vadodara, India, and volunteered as a yoga teacher at a girls' orphanage since 2015. Furthermore, I was a personal Yoga instructor in India and have worked at various Yoga studios in San Marcos and Austin, TX since 2017.
You can expect my sessions to be fun, refreshing, and suitable for yogis of all backgrounds.
- Regards!

Hello! I’m Latosha (Tosha),
I’ve been a student of yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2015. I was trained in Vinyasa yoga at Pranava Yoga Center in Colorado Springs. My first teaching experiences were with active duty Army members as a part of their outpatient treatment. I later trained with the Veteran’s Yoga Project and taught trauma focused yoga in the veteran community. Yoga has been such a critical part of my growth and the growth of the people I serve as a mental health therapist and yoga teacher.
I teach an eclectic mix of trauma focused, Vinyasa, and APPROACHABLE yoga. My goal is to focus on the mind/body components of yoga and offer a relaxing “break from the noise”.
My first class at Your Yoga was refreshing! It was the yoga environment I had been longing for: open, accepting, and FUN! It is my pleasure to serve each and everyone of you.
Always remember you have the power to create the tranquil and stress free life you deserve. -Latosha

Hi, I'm Kim!
A yogini, mother and lover of life. I began my yogic journey in 2006 when I was searching for balance while working in an extremely stressful position in corporate America. My love of yoga grew as I personal practice provided a powerful way to rejuvenate my energy and nourish myself. A positive experience motivated me to share these meaningful tools with others by becoming a yoga teacher.
I have a Masters in Exercise Science from Texas State University, and completed my 200-hour yoga certification. I have studied and practiced meditation since 2005. I have been teaching corporate, private and public yoga classes and retreats for over twelve years. My passion is bringing life balance to the hectic worlds for my students. I strive to develop programs for the community that provide tools for overall well-being and self-care.
I enjoy teaching Hatha, Hatha Flow and Yin yoga, where students have the opportunity to venture deeper into the mind-body connection. I provide individual adaptations for postures to ensure practicing yoga is accessible and safe for all. - Kim
